We stand behind our work. This policy explains when refunds are available for services purchased from Jermaine Hawkins.
1. Discovery & prepaid packages
- Full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided no work has been delivered.
- Prorated refund after work has begun, based on hours delivered against the SOW.
- No refund after all deliverables in the SOW have been accepted or after 45 days from purchase, whichever comes first.
2. Monthly retainers
Retainers may be cancelled at any time with 30 days' written notice. The current billing month is non-refundable; future months will not be charged.
3. Milestone-based projects
For fixed-scope projects billed by milestone, fees for accepted milestones are non-refundable. Unstarted milestones may be cancelled with written notice and are fully refundable.
4. How to request a refund
Email mail@Hawkinstech.us with your order or invoice reference and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 2 business days and issue eligible refunds within 5–10 business days to the original payment method via Stripe.
5. Chargebacks and disputes
We ask that you contact us first before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly. Fraudulent chargebacks may be contested with supporting documentation.
6. Non-refundable items
- Third-party fees passed through at cost (hosting, licenses, API usage).
- Custom work that has been delivered and accepted.
- Work performed outside the original SOW at your written request.
